The Avanti Summer Music Festival heralds an exciting new era of collaboration among the Detroit Symphony Orchestra stakeholders. For the first time, Save Our Symphony, the Musicians of the DSO and the DSO management are presenting an educational offering for metro Detroit students combined with a concert opportunity for the general public. The success of the first Avanti Summer MusicFest will lay the foundation for expanded offerings in coming years and new partnerships between the MDSO, the DSO and the community.
